A type of Pale Ale, Blondes tend to be clear, crisp, and dry, with low-to-medium bitterness and aroma from hops, and some sweetness from malt.
Dark Ales are usually an amber or brown colour and tend to be strong, malty and often nutty in flavour.
A typical golden ale has an appearance and profile similar to that of a pale lager. Malt character is subdued and the hop profile ranges from spicy to citrus.
Pale Ale uses a warm fermentation and predominantly pale malt to give a characteristic pale yellow colour.
Stout is a dark beer made using roasted malt or roasted barley, hops, water and yeast.
